Ireland Day 1

We landed in NYC and flew to Dublin from there and our flight was very pleasant. We had dinner desert and breakfast. We were able to sleep fairly well for a long flight.
So when we arrived in Dublin we were shocked to find out that our rental car jumped from the price of $122 to $704. Because we HAD to have insurance, although if we had a CC that was unlimited we could waive the insurance (BC they put a hold of the entire car on the car, if anything were to happen), but since we didn't we had to purchase insurance.
Then we were on our way, we drove through Dublin, and to get a car that is manual and on the other side of the car is difficult in itself, not to mention getting use to driving on the other side of the road. Dustin had to learn to shift with his left hand, and drive on the other side of the road. He did very well if I do say so.
Our first destination was CORK County. As we were driving we saw Cullahill Castle and we thought it was so amazing so we stopped and got some pictures, but come to find what we thought was amazing was just something that was very ordinary for the landscape to come.
After we saw that we went to 3 other castles, I will add the names to them later since I dont remember them right now and Dustin is sleeping currently. The jet lag is still affecting us, but differently. It is 6:25PM at home and it is 1:26AM here.
I am very excited because we have been able to get many pictures of us by putting the camera on a flat surface and putting self timer on.
The Blarney Castle was amazing and we were able to kiss the Blarney stone to give us Eloquent Speech. They had some amaizng places by the Castle that were fantasy like. There was a rock shaped like a witch, and a fairy garden, and other really neat places.
It is very beautiful here everywhere you go there is breathtaking beauty all over.

How we met

So I was perusing through our scrapbook that we have made when we were first together and I came across the our FIRST photo ever together. It was the day that we met. It is so strange because we could have met so many times before we actually did. My best friend in Elementary had a crush on him (I never knew who he was). I met his younger brother David, and he actually asked me to be his girlfriend (I said no). My other best friend Brenda knew him, and her friend Monica and Dustin were best buddies. So..needless to say although we could have met before, we never did. Until October 3, 1998.

I was going to homecoming at Clearfield High with an ex-boyfriend of mine. So my friend Brenda said she would do my hair and she even had a dress for me. Her friend Monica was visiting her from Gunnison, Utah while I was over there. While I was doing my hair Monica called Dustin and asked him to come over and see here while she was there. Dustin told her that he was getting ready to go to Davis High's Homecoming with a friend. She then told him that she wanted to see him all 'spiffied' up, so he came over. While I was in the bathroom getting my hair done he walked in and the first words that he said to me was, "WOW, you look like Celine Dion." I was so excited, and nervous. I just had the hottest guy talking to me. I didn't know what to do. So my friend Brenda thought since we both were all dressed up we should get our pictures together, so she had us pose. I was so nervous being so close to him, I ran home to get something and when I came back he was leaving, I went inside to finish getting ready and he came back in and said: "This might sound kinda cheesy but do you want to go on a date sometime?" I was shocked that he would be asking ME out. So of course I said yes.

A week later we had our first date at Park City (Haunted Silver Mines). The rest is history with 3 kids later. And I couldn't be any happier. I am so glad that he came into my life, and is now a permanent part of my life.
